generally i'm a big fan of the bbc. top gear. doctor who. radio 5 live. loads of stuff i'm happy to pay for.

however, twice since e3 i've found myself shouting at the radio.

granted, it's good that there was some e3 coverage. but on two occasions when people have mentioned wii sports i've heard the same response from different presenters: "what i don't get is if people want to play a game like that, why don't they just go an play tennis?"

yeah, alright. let me just grab four racquets, three mates and pop outside onto my local court. I HAVEN'T GOT ANY TENNIS RACQUETS! I DON'T LIVE NEAR ANY TENNIS COURTS! I'M NOT EVEN SURE IF I HAVE THREE FRIENDS WHO CAN PLAY FECKING TENNIS! I DON'T EVEN HAVE A PAIR OF WHITE SHORTS! SHUT THE FECK UP WITH YOUR FECKING NONSENSE!

it's like when my dad would see me playing sensible soccer when i was younger and ask why i don't go outside and play proper football. BECAUSE I HAVEN'T GOT 21 LIKE-MINDED FRIENDS AND WE DON'T LIVE NEAR A FECKING FOOTBALL PITCH! And mum hasn't cleaned my boots yet....
